Shrinkage of coatings due to solvent evaporation.
Causes
applying too thick layers of primer,
wrong amount of thinner (HS primers),
first layer of the primer is too thick,
too short a drying time,
insufficient drying of primer and putty layers,
too thin an insulation layer.
Prevention
make solvent test,
isolate with the use of twocomponent primer applied with several thin layers with keeping time for thinner evaporation,
avoid sanding topcoats.
Repair
Sand and apply coat again.
